An Announcement from Dear DeDe
Hello everybody! It’s me, DeDe!
After careful consideration, we have decided to reduce our publications to 4 days per week.
The current schedule is simply too difficult, especially to put out all this effort with no compensation.
We aren’t leaving, we love you all, and we hope you stick with us.

I can totally relate to the time issue. Since I have this new job with a 35-40 minute commute one way and having to work 9 hours a day for four of the five days a week, I completely understand the time. If you went down to 1 or 2 days a week, I would still read as I enjoy the post and I always have you guys on FB and Twitter. Love to you all, Joyce

Last year I was posting and reading the over 300 blogs that I follow nearly 7 days a week.
My goal for 2012 was to cut down the number of blog posts SIGNIFICANTLY.
Cat Chat is my primary blog and I commit to 3 posts per week (reserving the extra days for something I may want to blog about should the mood hit me)
Dakota’s Den is my secondary and frankly I do 3 posts or 2 (last week I had more but that is NOT the norm.)
I also had to cut down the number of days that I read the blogs that I follow. It was all becoming way too time consuming and was causing stress and this is SUPPOSED to be “fun!”
Good decision!

De De – It’s not a problem from my viewpoint either. I’d rather see thoughtful posts less frequently than posts that merely fill a page because you don’t have time. I’d be surprised anyone drops you because your frequency goes down.
