June Buggie has a Request or Two
MEOW! My name is June Buggie and I have something to say.
So I got two things to ask of you.
Thing One:
Since I now know that there are some businesses and companies that occasionally read this blog, I’ll let you know this one is for you.
July 27-30 is the Humane Society of the United States’ Taking Action for Animals Conference in Washington, D.C. Jen would love to go. That’s where you come in.
If you’d like to step up and do your part by sponsoring Jen’s trip to the conference, then by all means, DO IT! Just think- your company’s image is improved by telling the blogosphere that YOUR COMPANY supports animal welfare legislation.
Thing Two:
It’s once again time to nominate blogs for Dogtime’s Pet Blog Awards- the Petties. And while Rumpy would never dream of asking you to nominate our blog, I have no qualms about begging ya.
What do we get for the nomination? Well, the wonderful feeling of knowing that our readers think we’re worthy of such an award. And if we won? Well, then a rescue or shelter of our choice (must be a US 501C3 group) would get a donation of $1000.
There are several categories to choose from. I’d like to see us nominated for the Best Cause-related Blog.
So do that spineless jellyfish of a dog a good turn and nominate him for a Petties! You can do so here!
