Your All-Time Favorites of 2012!
Oh Dog! I am so excited! Today I’m going to count down my Top Five blog posts for 2012!
Are you ready?
NUMBER FIVE: Two volunteers from PAWS of Norwalk, Connecticut shared with you what it’s really like to be a volunteer for an animal shelter. Part One was my interview with Kevin of Animal Shelter Volunteer Life blog. Kevin’s interview also had one of the highest number of comments left.
NUMBER FOUR: In June our resident ranter June Buggie blogged about the dangers of permethrin.
NUMBER THREE: This one confused me. The post is where I graciously conceded that I did not win the Dogtime Best Cause Blog Award. Since then I have been amazed at how many people find this post by Googling “Congratulations.” But it’s true. I think I’ll try to use that title again sometime…. but this time with a much more amazing post!
NUMBER TWO: This entry was actually posted in December 2011, but since it was included in the year-end stats, I’ll include it also. It’s one of my masterpiece poems…. at least I think it’s a masterpiece!
And the NUMBER ONE blog post read at Rumpydog.com for 2012 was……
Our June Buggie has the TOP blog post for the year. In this rant he complains about the phenomenon of pocket pets and how Sugar Gliders, an animal that is NOT domesticated, is being bred and sold as pets in some parts of the US. Shameful stuff really.
I wish to thank all of my readers this past year. You are phenomenal. It makes an arctic dog’s heart go all aflutter to know there are so many of you out there that love us animals and want to do right by us. If I could, I’d give each of you a cookie!
I especially want to thank five people who have left an amazing number of comments here. My top five commenters for the year were:
Kevin Watanabe -@eripanwkevin
Carolyn and Austin of CATachresis
Janet at Basset Momma
Phil at Philosopher Mouse of the Hedge
And Granbee, who seems to have fallen off the blogging map since September.
OK, time for this blogging dog to go bask in my glory….. or at least take a nap. woo woo woo!
