A Poem About DeDe
Oh Dog! This weekend I wrote a poem about DeDe to share with you today. I hope you like it! -Rumpy
DeDe is a happy dog
She loves to sniff and roam.
But when it’s time to go inside,
she darts inside our home.
She sniffs along the fence line,
it’s something she adores.
but if she sees Jen heading in,
she hurries to the door.
She’s lived with Jen for several years
To tarry, she’ll not try,
Because DeDe is still afraid
she will be left outside.

Yes. It’s hard to accept that after several years she still fears being left behind. But I always make sure she goes inside when I do. woo woo!

So sweet! I’m like you, DeDe. I don’t like to go out without Mom. I’m never allowed to anyway, because we have no fence. But before I go out for a walk, I always check through the window to see if I’m afraid of anything out there. If I see anything scary, I try to hide in the bedroom.
