Letters to Santa- Kitty Edition!

Oh Dog! Can you believe it? One week from today we’re gonna wake up and see all the wonderful presents Santa has left for us! I am so excited!!!!!

Today Santa’s gonna get tag-teamed by a pair of sweet kitties who have their little hearts set on some sweet surprises. First up, Sundae from These Days of Mine.

It’s Sundae, doing what cats do best.

Dear Santa Paws,

Sundae, the sweet little calico kitty here. I sure hope you’ve had a wonderful off-season and are geared up for your big evening coming up in a few weeks.

As you know, I’ve been extremely good this year. What’s that? The little biting incidents? Well, um, you know that’s really just my way of showing affection right? Surely you’ve heard of “love nips”?

Okay, okay, I’m really trying to get them under control. I promise to really work on it between now and Christmas.

Meanwhile, here’s my tiny little Christmas list:

1.) I really could use a pair of kitty sunglasses. The sun outside my window is really bright sometime, and I’m worried about my eyes.

2.) Motor Mommy mentions a new kitty once in awhile. Could you puhlease work some magic to let her know that isn’t a good idea?

3.) I have made lots of new furriends in blogland and I would really love it if you could bring all my kitty friends a little nip and my doggy friends a little chew toy.

4.) Oh yeah, a new toy for me would be pawsome too.

5.) And – this is a tall order – warm happy homes for all the poor little kitties and doggies who don’t have one. I know: that would be a Christmas miracle, wouldn’t it?

Next we have another sweet kitty- Satchie from Satchmo The Cat!

Dear Santa Paws,I’m Satchie, a 7 months old kitten from Canada. This is going to be my very first Christmas! Mom and big bro Jay, and my auntie Savvy and my uncle Sammy told me that if I’m a good girl, you’ll bring me presents. I even have a brand new stocking ready for you that my mom brought home the other day. My very first stocking! I’m very excited about Christmas so I’m writing you this letter and sending it to Santa Dog so he can give it to you.This is my list:

A forever home for all doggies and kitties
A kitty calendar from Nine Lives Greece
My own blankie so big bro doesn’t get mad at me when I sleep on his
All the kitty toys you can spare
An extra toy for auntie Savvy, another one for uncle Sammy and another one for Rumpy
A salmon steak for big brother Jay (he likes salmon)
A basket of fresh fruit from Colombia for mom and hu-sis. They miss it very much

I think that’s it. I hope I did it right.

Oh, and Santa? Please don’t ask big brother Jay if I’ve been a good girl, OK?

Hello?….yooo hooo??? ahem, koff, koff…ahhhhh, hiya Santa Dog… I am hoping you will read my letter.

Ok, here goes…

I am in my furrever home for my first ever Christmas, and as you can see from the photo, we don’t have our tree all decked out yet for you to see. And, we moved…so I am kind’a scared you won’t find me. Anywho, if you do read my letter AND you can find me…maybe you can drop a little something in my stocking??

I am a really good ladycat, I don’t cause mischief and I don’t make messes. Well, and I don’t really like nip either. Hmmmm….what could you put in my stocking???

Oh, I know!!!…how’s about one more Peacock Fev-ver??…just one…for me. Then you can give all the other cat toys and food to those kitties who don’t have homes, who have to live outside without being warm, never feeling soft chin rubs and who don’t feel safe. You give them all the other stuff you might have dropped off for me, ‘Kay?? Deal?

Oh Dog! I don’t believe it! Jen told me last night that i am OFFICIALLY on the Naughty list! I guess two days of strewn garbage, counter-surfing and treat-stealing makes SOMEBODY mad! *rolls eyes*

Anyway, today we have letters from my friend Atticus, his kitty Jersey, his uncle Koko and best friend Harley!

Atticus!

Hi my name is Atticus i live in Leduc Ab Canada, I live with my mom and my kitty sister Jersey. I love playing in fresh falling snow. I love spending time with my grandparents , my auntie and my best friend Harley who is Rotti. I like playing with animals, i special curling up on the couch with my mom and watching tv,

I Have been a really good boy this yr. I donated some of my used toys to a rescue society for puppies who dont have alot of toys.

we wish all the puppies in the world that r living on the streets have a great christmas and get a family of there own one day.

Hi my name is Jersey my brother is Atticus, my mom adopted me for the rescue place where she adopted my brother. Atticus and I get along great. i miss him when he goes to his grandparents with mom and i have to stay home. i am a good kitty but sometimes i like to scratch mom would furniture she gets a little mad. I get along fine with other dogs if they r quiet and gentle.

I am 3 yrs old i have a great home i have my own room with a chair that i like to take warm sun naps on and the I sleep in bed with mom and Atticus at night

Hi Santa my name is Harley , I live in Leduc Ab with my parents who are the greatest . My parents have had to pay for some major surgerys this yr. I will be 2 on Nov 19. I am a good boy love my parents and my auntie Kim and my buddy Atticus. Like to play with other dogs.

Oh Dog! Those letters to Santa just keep pouring in! It’s so exciting! Today we’re featuring a letter from three kitties who blog at My Three Moggies! Let’s see what they’re asking Santa for!

My Three Moggies!

Dear Santa Dog,

Well, what a purr-fect year 2012 has been for us three moggies.

We’ve guarded the house, we’ve been out on patrol and Henry even bought a (live and unharmed) rabbit home for our huMum. How could we have been better kitties than that?

Henry!

This year we would love it if you could find your way to getting us the best-est Christmas gift ever… lots and lots of wonderful wrapping paper! We can’t wait to chase it all around the kitchen…

Oscar!

If you could find your way to popping a couple of those Christmas tree baubles in the old santa sock that would be good too. We love to practice our paw boxing on the big day.

Oh, and one other thing, a nice traditional festive fish supper would be lovely too!

Fang you very much for all our cat-tastic presents last year! There will be a special bone and a bowl of water out for you on Christmas Eve.

Some Advice from Dear DeDe!

Oh Dog! Dear DeDe here with some advice for you dogs and cats out there!

DeDe’s words of wisdom!

I just found out that Santa is hiring extra labor this year!

Indeed!

Jen came home with some yummy-smelling bags and such Friday, but instead of showing us what was inside, she put them up high in the closet and told us to stay out! Even June Buggie!

According to Jen, Santa has an exceptionally high number of recipients on the NICE list, and all those gifts just won’t fit on his sleigh. So he’s asking humans to provide storage for him. Jen says he’ll pick these presents up when he delivers our gifts and deliver them to good dogs and cats in California.

So if YOU find a stash of Christmas presents hidden somewhere in your house, STAY OUT! That just means Santa has hired your mom or dad to store gifts too.

Who knew that Santa was so smart?

Not too much longer now!

It’s Time for Letters to Santa Dog!

Oh Dog! I am so excited! It’s time to kick off this year’s series of Letters to Santa! DeDe Dog, June Buggie and I are OFFICIAL! Santa’s Helpers, and we send your letters to the Big Guy himself via the magic of blog posts. Woo! Woo! Woo!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Our very first letter to come in this year came to us via our human blogging friend Boomdeeadda. Petals and Blossum are already in the holiday spirit, and so I share with you their letter to the Santa Paws:

Oh Dog! We’re going to put in an extra special good word in for you guys, so hopefully Christmas morning the water running beneath your Christmas tree wasn’t due to Rudolph peeing on it! *snickers*
