Naughty or Nice? You Decide….

Oh Dog! In today’s letters to Santa we have a study in opposites. One from a cat. One from a dog. One on the Nice list. One obviously isn’t. Guess which is which?

Just get me LOTS and get FATDOG nothing. I don’t need a new bed thank you, I just claimed FATDOGS.

The audacity! Not only is he naughty, but he sends photographic evidence to prove it! I’m telling Santa that Gordon is certainly NOT nice! But Emma, on the other hand, is a sweet girl and definitely nice. Emma blogs at My GBGV Life.

Dear Santa Paws,

Hi, it is Emma the GBGV here writing you from Minnesota which is far from the North Pole mom tells me.

I have been busy going through my catalogs choosing the items I really need. I think I have been a very good girl this year, at least I have been trying really hard. I have not caught a wabbit in almost a year now, and have been focusing on just chasing wabbits and squirrels. I have also been nice to my big sister and my cat bro Bert, Sophie I never see, so she does not count. Mom says I am a devil but I don’t know why.

For Christmas this year I would like more bird feeders for my squirrels and maybe some more bags of food because those fat squirrels really eat a lot. I could use some fun new collars from my favorite place, Up Country, Inc., I need a new 25 ft. Flexi-Leash because I pretty much killed mine taking off after a wabbit (cord got cut on the brick as I rounded the corner of the house), lots of snacks like bully sticks, cows ears, tripe and any other good treats you have in stock.

I will put out some milk and cookies for you and a big bowl of water and some carrots for your reindeer as I do every year to thank you for stopping by.

Letters to Santa- Kitty Edition!

Oh Dog! Can you believe it? One week from today we’re gonna wake up and see all the wonderful presents Santa has left for us! I am so excited!!!!!

Today Santa’s gonna get tag-teamed by a pair of sweet kitties who have their little hearts set on some sweet surprises. First up, Sundae from These Days of Mine.

It’s Sundae, doing what cats do best.

Dear Santa Paws,

Sundae, the sweet little calico kitty here. I sure hope you’ve had a wonderful off-season and are geared up for your big evening coming up in a few weeks.

As you know, I’ve been extremely good this year. What’s that? The little biting incidents? Well, um, you know that’s really just my way of showing affection right? Surely you’ve heard of “love nips”?

Okay, okay, I’m really trying to get them under control. I promise to really work on it between now and Christmas.

Meanwhile, here’s my tiny little Christmas list:

1.) I really could use a pair of kitty sunglasses. The sun outside my window is really bright sometime, and I’m worried about my eyes.

2.) Motor Mommy mentions a new kitty once in awhile. Could you puhlease work some magic to let her know that isn’t a good idea?

3.) I have made lots of new furriends in blogland and I would really love it if you could bring all my kitty friends a little nip and my doggy friends a little chew toy.

4.) Oh yeah, a new toy for me would be pawsome too.

5.) And – this is a tall order – warm happy homes for all the poor little kitties and doggies who don’t have one. I know: that would be a Christmas miracle, wouldn’t it?

Dear Santa Paws,I’m Satchie, a 7 months old kitten from Canada. This is going to be my very first Christmas! Mom and big bro Jay, and my auntie Savvy and my uncle Sammy told me that if I’m a good girl, you’ll bring me presents. I even have a brand new stocking ready for you that my mom brought home the other day. My very first stocking! I’m very excited about Christmas so I’m writing you this letter and sending it to Santa Dog so he can give it to you.This is my list:

A forever home for all doggies and kitties
A kitty calendar from Nine Lives Greece
My own blankie so big bro doesn’t get mad at me when I sleep on his
All the kitty toys you can spare
An extra toy for auntie Savvy, another one for uncle Sammy and another one for Rumpy
A salmon steak for big brother Jay (he likes salmon)
A basket of fresh fruit from Colombia for mom and hu-sis. They miss it very much

I think that’s it. I hope I did it right.

Oh, and Santa? Please don’t ask big brother Jay if I’ve been a good girl, OK?

Letters to Santa- Thursday Edition!

Happy Thursday! The days are passing quickly until Santa comes, and I am sooooo excited! woo woo woo!

Look! It’s SantaDog!

Today we have two letters. The first comes to us from the gang at DogDaz, who by the way won the prize contest from the ASPCA!

The Dogdaz family!

Dear RumpyDog and Santa Paws,

We think we have been very good doggies and kitties this year, so could you bring us the following presents for the winter holiday:

- Noel wants every lost animal to find it’s way home
- Louise wants people to stop hurting animals (and humans too) and could you find them extra special loving homes. (Louise was hurt and you brought her here, so she knows you can do it.)
- The Muffin Man wants everyone to get along.
- Sofie Bear wants every animal to have enough to eat (and maybe she can help them eat it.)
- Miss Constance Kitty wants to be an only cat (do you have a cat in the North Pole? Is it nice and quiet there?).
- Nine wants an erector set, and one of those climbing trees, and a whole bunch of cat nip toys, and …., and …..
- Stella wants to play with whatever Nine gets (but she really would like a diamond studded collar.)

and the DogDaz human wants people to shop local and remember that your charity makes a very big difference.

Dear Santa Paws,

Despite a gang of evil birds who are determined to stain my character with wild accusations, I have been a pretty good pup this year – I hope you agree!

Obviously lots of treats and toys in my stocking would be good, but what I’m really wishing for is snow!! I hope you’ll be able to send some in my direction.

Also, if you have any miracle-grow for fur that would be useful, my poor shaved belly is starting to feel the cold!

I’ll definitely be leaving out some cookies and a glass of sherry for you on Christmas eve, along with some treats for your sleigh team (we all know the reindeer thing is a myth so I’ll dispense with the carrots, unless like me, your mallies and sibes like them)

Hello?….yooo hooo??? ahem, koff, koff…ahhhhh, hiya Santa Dog… I am hoping you will read my letter.

Ok, here goes…

I am in my furrever home for my first ever Christmas, and as you can see from the photo, we don’t have our tree all decked out yet for you to see. And, we moved…so I am kind’a scared you won’t find me. Anywho, if you do read my letter AND you can find me…maybe you can drop a little something in my stocking??

I am a really good ladycat, I don’t cause mischief and I don’t make messes. Well, and I don’t really like nip either. Hmmmm….what could you put in my stocking???

Oh, I know!!!…how’s about one more Peacock Fev-ver??…just one…for me. Then you can give all the other cat toys and food to those kitties who don’t have homes, who have to live outside without being warm, never feeling soft chin rubs and who don’t feel safe. You give them all the other stuff you might have dropped off for me, ‘Kay?? Deal?

Oh Dog! Those letters to Santa just keep pouring in! It’s so exciting! Today we’re featuring a letter from three kitties who blog at My Three Moggies! Let’s see what they’re asking Santa for!

My Three Moggies!

Dear Santa Dog,

Well, what a purr-fect year 2012 has been for us three moggies.

We’ve guarded the house, we’ve been out on patrol and Henry even bought a (live and unharmed) rabbit home for our huMum. How could we have been better kitties than that?

This year we would love it if you could find your way to getting us the best-est Christmas gift ever… lots and lots of wonderful wrapping paper! We can’t wait to chase it all around the kitchen…

Oscar!

If you could find your way to popping a couple of those Christmas tree baubles in the old santa sock that would be good too. We love to practice our paw boxing on the big day.

Oh, and one other thing, a nice traditional festive fish supper would be lovely too!

Fang you very much for all our cat-tastic presents last year! There will be a special bone and a bowl of water out for you on Christmas Eve.

Oh Dog! OFFICIAL! Santa’s Helper Rumpy T. Drummond here! Jen told me she actually talked to the Big Guy yesterday, and he asked her about an incident involving bathroom trash being found in the hallway. I assured her Santa had me mixed up with the dog next door. *looks around*

Anyway, enough about me. Today we’re featuring letters from Freddie and Gloria at Basset Momma. I can’t wait to read what they’ve asked for!

Oh Dog! It’s Santa!

Dear Santa:

Freddie here. I’m not gonna try and sugar coat this letter and be all like “All I want is new hips and knees” or “I want world peace” so lets just cut to the chase shall we. I think I’ve been pretty good, well, whatever. Anyway, I would like one of those cool green toys that my buddy Hawk has. I think Momma called it a Kong Rope Squeeze. Every time Momma’s got his blog up he’s dangling that thing in front of me and I want one! I’d also like one of those Sneaky Snakes that Goose has. I figure since I’m so sneaky too, we’d get along great. Okay, ummmmm……..some treats and rawhide chews would be nice too but I really want some of my old Dog Whisperer bones. All we can get now are these stupid sterilized white bones. What’s up with that? They look like they’ve been bleached! Yuk! I figure your Santa, Mr. Magic, the Big Kahuna……you should be able to make this happen. Oh, and could you maybe put a little something in Gloria’s stocking to help with that poo breath? Ya, that’d be nice. Thanks Santa
