Yesterday morning was long and stressful.
After it was over, this is what we all did.
Jen is going to check out some possible new homes today.
She also bought some Rescue Remedy, because the kitties are showing signs of stress. How do you usually administer- in the water, in food, or some other way?
Oh, and here’s your daily reminder to vote for Rumpy in the World Spay Day Pet Pageant. To be honest, I’m so far behind, I have no hope of winning. But you need to vote anyway, because the winners are the dogs and cats that are saved a short life of misery because they are unwanted.
Did all the cats and dogs go in the car? Poor things. Far too stressful. I’ll pray you find a new home with a nice, kind, decent landlord.
Yes, they were all in the car. I don’t trust to leave them at home with people I don’t know coming into the house.
Here’s hoping a nice new home is found soon! xx
I hope you find that perfect home soon. Relax today friends and de-stress.
Blessings,
Goose
My kitty is very finicky about what she eats and drinks, so whenever I want her to take some remedy, I smear it on her paws and chest knowing that she’ll lick it off when she cleans herself – and she does like to be clean. It’s less stressful for both of us, and she seems to get the benefit of the remedy. Sending positive vibes for a wonderful new home…FAST! xoxoM
Thanks! We may try that!
Awww, you three all look exhausted Rumpy. Good luck on finding a place to live. Hopefully Jen will find something that will be just right for you.
A horrid and stressy time for you all 😦 We’d put the rescue remedy in the water for all the cats and dogs.
At the shelter where I use to volunteer, we put this in the water. Not sure if you can do that because of Rumpy and DeeDee Have you thought about the Feliway plug-in? I have that in my house and Isaiah is so much more calmer. I get the refills from Amazon subscription service. They are the cheapest I have found around here. Lastly, I will pray that you can find a new home with a landlord who is not a axxhole. Sorry, but anyone that has you sign a lease and then put the house on the market is exactly that. I know that you will find something even better than what you have now.
I am using the Feliway plug-ins also, but still seeing some stress. There’s no point in all of us being stressed out, and since Jen is anyway, we should let her bear the brunt!
Can’t help with the rescue remedy, but hope Mom has a good day looking at houses! Hopefully she will find the perfect place very soon. We are all praying for you all to find that perfect place without a lot more stress:)
Moving is always stressful. Hope you all are settled in soon to some place wonderful. BTW, Rumpy, I voted again today for you.
Oh no….I feel so sorry to see you all have to go through this moving….you all look very exhausted…I’m sure Jen must be exhausted, too…..I wish I could be there to give you big pawhugs……
I hope you have a great place to settle in soon. *hugs*
Oh no you poor things 😦 let’s pray your luck turns around very soon xxx
Sound like you’re all going through a terribly rough time. Wishing you some peaceful, positive moments!
We’ll say prayers that today goes well with wonderful results for your new home. Hang in there, guys. This will end well.
Love and lots and lots of licks,
Cupcake
I use the Feliway plug-ins also and they help but just so far. Be sure to post your success with the Rescue Remedy. I had to go through this once when I was selling my own house. I only have cats and I had to leave them there (I was at work when some people came through). They hid themselves under the bed while people went through. Fortunately, I sold the house fast so it wasn’t too bad. Not sure how dogs like strangers entering especially if you are not there.
We hope you all have a much more relaxed and restful day today. Hugs and nose kisses
I tried rescue remedy for Henri, didn’t work. He would drool like a fool in the car! The vet recommended Dramamine, works great and my car door and seats are very happy!
Here’s to some down time and relaxation! My cat growing up would just howl when in the car not fun for anyone. Happy Sunday:)
I really hope you find a new place soon, Rumpy.
Reblogged this on delia1979.
As I said before, we are using two herbal Spirit Essences and Mom sprays it everywhere I play and sleep and Dad puts it in my wet food AM AND PM. And I know this is allowing me to let Mom pick me up. And with the supplement you are using, put it in water for sure. And wet food.
Oh, I pray you find the perfect home very very soon…Big hugs to all of you!!!!
You are all too cute to worry, let me do that for you. Hugs to all.
Great idea to use rescue remedy… the direct methods mentioned, on paw/fur or in wet food are best. Jen could take some too, under her tongue 🙂 How stressful for you all. I’m adding my positive thoughts to everyone’s for a new and wonderful landlord and residence and a speedy move 🙂
That’s funny, because she was wondering if there was a comparable product for humans! Thanks!
Oh dear…this is a horrible situation for you all…I do hope it’s resolved quickly. It’s bad enough for a human to deal with but pets don’t understand what’s going on at all do they?
Wolfie hugs for everyone 🙂
I have a spray rescue remedy that I occasionally manage to get into Bella and Beary’s mouths before they realise what’s happening, but I don’t know about kitties. I’ve also resorted to putting it in their food – although that’s the only time food is treated suspiciously. I don’t blame you – I wouldn’t leave my loves at home with other people through the house either. I hope you’re all settled in to a wonderful new home soon. Okay, off to do my morning voting …
I’ve never used rescue remedy, but we used to recommend it a lot. Normally the doctor would say to put it in their water but I know that cats can be suspicious of that sort of thing.
Rumpy, one of our dogs love to ride in the car, the other finds it very stressful. I’m sorry that you got such a rotten landlord and now have to move again. I hope you find something wonderful really soon! xo
Mom has used the remedy for me. She put a few drops on a cookie and I cobbled it up. Putting it in water dilutes it and less goes into the tummy.
Good luck with your house search. I voted again today.
I’ve given Rescue Remedy on a piece of bread to dogs. But the flowery smell puts some animals off. I’d try to drop it onto a smelly treat or kibble.
Hope you find a new house really soon.

Yes, Rescue Remedy goes in the water. I hope you find a new home fast and I know it’s difficult to find a home with a zoo like that. But we still cross fingers, toes, hooves and eyes for you.
We love you all so much! OurPeople are keeping everyone in their hearts, especially Jen while she seeks a safe new home for you. ❤
I can’t believe you need to pack everyone up and drive around! I hope you find a new place soon. I put remedies in the drinking water, and also spray it in the air. Sometimes I’ll spray it on my hands and pet the cat who needs it most.
Good luck finding a new place! You’re in my thoughts and prayers!
rescue remedy for pussycats? Why not!
Hugs to all! This kind of situation is stressful for *anyone*, most especially those who can have no control over the situation.
