Serving up Spam on a Monday Morning!

Occasionally I have to rummage through the spam folder to make sure no legit comments have been sent there by mistake. This weekend, I took on that task.

Spam- it's a pain in the tail.....

spam is a pain in the tail…..

Most spam is meaningless sentences strung together. But some spam is good for a laugh, though I doubt that was the writer’s intention.

I thought I’d share with you today some of my favorites.

I visited several web sites however the audio quality for audio songs current at this web site is really superb. (That’s amazing, especially since there were no songs posted on this particular blog post).

I’m gone to convey my little brother, that he should also pay a quick visit this blog on regular basis to take updated from newest gossip. (Gossip? Yes, DeDe’s weekly beauty advice is scandalous gossip!)

I don’t normally look at these types of web sites (I’m a pretty modest person) – but even though I was a bit shocked as I was reading, I was surely a bit excited as properly. Thanks for producing my day. (Uh…… moving right along……. )

The reasons the marriages of famous people break up are not that different from the reasons ordinary marriages break up. You would think people with the huge incomes many celebrities make would never have to fight about not having enough money. But many celebrities discover there is never enough no matter how much they have. (That may be true, but what does that have to do with animal welfare?)

Thanks for one’s marvelous posting! I really enjoyed reading it, you will be a great author. I will be sure to bookmark your blog and may come back later in life. I want to encourage one to continue your great work, have a nice holiday weekend! (Oh thanks! Wait, what holiday weekend? Oh, right. Spam. *sigh*)

.

Also interesting was the search terms recently used to find my blog: big cats, raccoon, stay warm thoughts posts on facebook, walmart bread. Huh? Wal-Mart bread?

.

Do you peruse the spam folder for a laugh? Have a favorite to share?

  4. I keep getting invited to show someone around town. Somehow we stopped communicating on Facebook. Good grief I wonder if that stuff really works?

  6. Yup. We’ve all seen them but it’s funny that you pointed it out. I always wondered why these spammers all seem to be non English speakers. I would like to be spammed by someone who can put together a proper sentence. Actually, I wouldn’t, but you know what I mean.

  7. Bwa ha ha! Spam is like the fortune cookies of blogging.

I feel bad for the occasional smart comments ending up in spam jail until I rescue them. I hope they don’t catch anything while they’re waiting to be released.

  8. I’ve gotten some interesting spam, some insulting ones too. But I am so thankful for the real people that take time to comment. Hugs to you and the furry family miss Jen.

  9. Lol based on the search terms, am I correct in thinking people are mistaking Rumpy for a racoon?! Funny stuff, definitely a nice way to brighten up your Monday 🙂

  15. Sometimes they sound pretty cogent … until you realize they are commenting on a picture and what they are saying has nothing to do with the subject. I too look through Spam. Sometimes a real comment is in the mix and needs rescuing.

  16. Oh, I know! Usually they don’t even make sense, and when they do they are so irrelevant!

  17. The search term that is best applied here is “love”…or “most wonderful dog in the world”

  18. Oh, who doesn’t know them. Some are funny, but most of them are just boring.

  25. Some are really funny. Just be careful about opening spam it could contain viruses.

  26. Yes, every now and then we sit down for a laugh 😀 Some are almost plausible and therefore rather clever.

  27. Don’t you just love how easy the spammers make it for us to tell they are spam? If they wanted to leave a comment that matched better, they’d have to do some real work.
