Despite my best efforts, Monday has once again managed to find me. *heavy sigh*
Monday, you did it to me again!
Jen fixed us up with a new color for the papasan chair.
What’s with all the purple?
I was upset because I think the flower pillow should be MINE, but when I try to pull it off, Jen says No! Just wait until she leaves for work pillow, then we can be together.
Jen also cooked this weekend, and boy, were we excited to help! She found this recipe at Sugar Dish Me.
sweet potato burger- it’s delicious!
We asked Jen to occasionally write about vegetarian and vegan foods from a non-foodie perspective. Maybe that will encourage others to explore the possibility that not all meals require meat. Look for her first post this week!
Apart from Ruby we are all vegetarian - always looking for inspiration! Rumpy you need to assert your authority and get the cat off the purple chair - looks much more comfy than a little pillow

I do have some other veggie burger recipes that I use quite often- they aren’t vegan because I almost always include cheese, but they could easily be adapted. My vegan friends used cashew cream instead of the Greek yogurt on these burgers and it worked really well. Happy Monday & have a great week Jen & Rumpy!!

so good good karma in the house..unless you eat the purple flower pillow! that burger looks delish!! sweet potato is very good for you,i have been getting crazy over Turnip green tops and they are extra extra good for you!!
As for Monday take heart ours is nearly over here so it does end

I’ll have one every so often. If we want ground something, I don’t normally buy ground beef, usually ground turkey. Anyway, try to have a good Monday, Rumpy. I’ve had a week off and now have to get back into the work mindset. I’ll try, too, okay? Hope you get cookies today!

We’ve cut down to fish and cage free chicken as far as meat goes. And we eat bean dishes or tofu dishes on some nights. My husband is Chinese so he really knows how to make those tofu dishes taste delicious. More recipes would be great, though.

My dogs and cats are very tolerant and don’t complain about my food. They get normal cat- and dogfood with lots of meat. The sheep don’t complain about my food either. Another thing I like about my animals, they are never on a fashionable diet.
