Oh Dog! Do we have some interesting gift ideas for you this week!
Easy Rider introduced us to the Puppy Robotic Vacuum Cleaner designed by Hyun-Seok Kim. The “puppies” clean the floor while they run around and play. They return to “mama” to recharge and to empty the trash they’ve collected. Are you kidding me???? Can’t you just get a Roomba?
And speaking of getting a roomba……. *cue cymbal crash,* a person who wished to remain anonymous found this gift idea to share with us all. I present to you, the Love Dog for Dogs!

How do you clean it up?????
Yep, that’s absolutely what it is- a doggie doll designed to make all your dog’s Hump Day dreams come true!
And…. let’s move on now, shall we?
This is the Shark Attack Figure Playset by Animal Planet. It’s one in a series of several sets designed for sea life exploration. My beef is with the name of this one particular set. Shark Attack? Really? There are 100 reported shark attacks each year, and yet here is a media outlet that is promoting stereotypes about these majestic creatures. It’s shameful! Where is the Deer Attack! Action Set? Deer kill more people.
Don’t forget to keep those cell phones fully charged, so you can take pics of the great gift ideas you find while out in the Black Friday frenzy! Then send them to me, and I’ll post them here!

hahaha how crazy! But the shark set is weird, imagine this under the christmas tree “scary christmas
Posted by easyweimaraner | November 23, 2013, 7:02 AMYeah, that shark set stinks. But the others are funny!
I wanna find a doll for June Buggie to swat at…. maybe he’ll leave me alone!
Posted by rumpydog | November 23, 2013, 7:29 AMThat doggie/puppy Roomba would give the the heebie-jeebies running around here. Yikes. Leave it to Easy….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Posted by Genevieve Petrillo | November 23, 2013, 7:15 AMPoor Cupcake….. maybe the puppies will clean your toes!
Posted by rumpydog | November 23, 2013, 7:30 AMWell, the elephant in the room is clearly the doggie dildo - or whatever the female equivalent of a dildo would be called. See, here’s the thing. Most responsible pet parents nowadays, are spaying and neutering their fur children. In fact, shelters demand it. If you rescue, you need to sign a promissory note stating your willingness to neuter. This, among other things, negates the need for such a toy, as well as the ability for said dog to effectively make use of it. It’s the equivalent of a whore trying to make a living in a stable of eunuchs. Not that I don’t think this is a great idea, merely that it’s about 20 years too late. Now growing up, I can think of at least a dozen dogs who would have been eternally grateful. 🙂
Posted by bitcodavid | November 23, 2013, 7:52 AMI think this is designed for those that maintain dogs for breeding purposes. Oh, and there are lotsa fellas out there that won’t get their male dog neutered because they would feel emasculated themselves.
I say, Hey! All the COOL dogs are neutered!
Posted by rumpydog | November 23, 2013, 11:34 AMTh Puppy Robotic Vacuum Cleaner looks funny! Have a lovely Saturday, Rumpy! 🙂
Posted by eripanwkevin | November 23, 2013, 7:56 AMIt is cute upon first glance…. but I don’t think it’s something that’s gonna be good at cleaning your floor.
Posted by rumpydog | November 23, 2013, 11:35 AMThankfully, I have three dogs who play fairly well with each other, now that Ducky is growing up and learning how to play nicely. So they don’t need a “doggie love doll”. I’m just a little taken aback — I thought I’d “seen it all” in my 60+ years! But a “doggie love doll”??? Good Grief, Charlie Brown!!
At least the robotic puppies vacuum is cute, if not very practical. Ducky would probably try to chew on them or “mama”. As for the shark attack set? Well, let’s not even go there.
Posted by The Golden Life | November 23, 2013, 8:54 AMYeah, I’m with ya!
