Oh Dog! DeDe here with this week’s tip to make you look and feel your best! I’m your Personal Beauty Consultant!
This week’s tip: Take the bad with the good!
Stuff happens in life that we don’t like. Jobs are lost. Relationships end. Disasters happen. Let’s face it- it’s never a pleasant experience.
And yet how many times have you heard someone say, or said yourself, that it was the best thing that ever happened, because out of that awful experience came something really good.
Truth is that when bad things happen, a person will find out what they’re truly made of. And most find they are really strong and resilient. Maybe you don’t make it through smelling like a rose, but you make it through, and that’s all that really matters.
Struggles give you character, and character is an attractive quality.
So while it’s understandable that you would feel bad for yourself in the midst of your struggles, don’t lose hope that you will get to the end of that tunnel and that it will all be worth it. As for others, it’s OK to lighten their load, just don’t take it from them completely, or they will lose a valuable learning experience.
And don’t forget to leave home without this essential beauty item- A SMILE!

DeDe you are more than attractive - you are beautiful - from the inside out and that’s the BEST kind of beautiful. Excellent advice too!!! As always!!
Love and Hugs, Sammy

Posted by rumpydog | January 5, 2014, 7:21 AMThat is such a wonderful attitude to have, DeDe. Often good things come out of bad, we just have to remember there is light at the end of the tunnel. I love your smile!!

Posted by Austin Towers | January 5, 2014, 7:41 AMYou could do a lot worse, Austin Towers. *wink*
Posted by rumpydog | January 5, 2014, 10:26 AMThis is a great beauty tip. When a big dog bit my neck, and I had surgery, I felt sorry for myself a little. But when my drain was out, Mom covered my stitches with a bandage and a red bandana every day. People in the neighborhood said I looked like a gang-banger. This is NOT a good image to have, but it always made them laugh when they said it, because I am so tiny and innocent looking, except for that rockin’ bandana. It changed my image and made me feel a little tougher, like I’d make it through. And then I did. I love you, DeDe.
Love and licks,
Cupcale

Posted by rumpydog | January 5, 2014, 10:27 AMOh, DeDe, what a wonderful attitude! You’re so right, stuff happens in life that we don’t like, but it’s the way we handle it that matters! We need to learn to accept it and move on and learn from it! We will come out of such an experience stronger and wiser than before and will be ready to face the world in new ways… You really are beautiful inside and out, sweet little girl! All the best to you!! 🙂
xoxo Roxy & Tigerlino
P.S. We’ve got BIG smiles on our face… 🙂 🙂
