A Natural Flea/Tick Product that Works!

This is Homer.

Homer showed up one day at my mom’s house with a hurt leg. She doctored him up and he’s been with her ever since. That’s been well over 10 years now.

Homer prefers being outdoors, which means fleas are always a concern. When I was contacted and asked if I’d like to sample Wondercide Natural Flea and Tick Control, I asked Homer if he’d help me out, and he agreed.

Wondercide is natural, organic, food-grade ingredients that are formulated to kill fleas and ticks. I was sent a sample spray and shampoo bar. Homer refused to review the shampoo bar, but was cool with the spray.

Homer says the spray is nice and he didn’t mind it at all. My mom said it’s easy to use and does exactly what it says it will do. The only downside is the product must be reapplied every 4 days, but that’s a small price to pay for a chemical-free way to treat for fleas!

Now I know some of you are looking out your window at the snow and wondering why I’m talking about flea control now. And yet cooped up with you inside your cozy home are your beloved companions who would be outdoors if it were warmer. And if they brought fleas into your home with them, well…..

Fleas are a 365-day-a-year problem, which means lots of chemicals you’re exposing your pets, kids, and yourself to. Going natural is better for everyone, better for the environment, and it smells a lot better too.

So Homer suggests adding Wondercide to your Santa list, and see if you, too, aren’t sold like he is.

NOTE: I was given a sample of Wondercide to use for this review. The opinions about the product are those of my mother and Homer.

  3. I’m curious. Since you don’t have a dog that goes out and your cats are indoor only (I think), do you use a flea product? My last indoor/outdoor cat died 2 years ago. I have 4 totally indoor cats and I go back and forth about using chemicals on them when they are at a somewhat low risk. Unless I want to get killed, giving my cats a bath is out of the question.

    • I do and right now my gang are using Seresto collars. We had a flea problem even though Rumpy kept preventative on him. I had to treat them and the house. So even indoor kitties can get fleas and I’m not taking any more chances, though I’d prefer to not use chemicals.

  4. that sounds great,I use diatomaceous earth on Speedy as it kills bugs by dehydrating them,it so far seems to work on mites, fleas and tics and its supposed to work on all bugs but its non toxic too.I have to be careful with what I use on him as a lot of stuff used for cats and dogs is not good for bunnies,xx Rachel

  5. If it really works, it would be a great thing. I would need an awful lot of it for the three dogs!
