June Buggie is not well.
Since Rumpy’s death, June Buggie has been acting sick. At first I thought he was mourning, but he hasn’t snapped out of it.
So today we went to the vet.
I showed her his back where he fur fell out last week after I applied Revolution.
I told her about the sniffles and sneezes, the weepy eye and and the lack of appetite. I told her about how he clings to me.
She has some possibilities, but suggested we do a full blood panel for more information before discussing treatment options. I agreed, and we’ll have the results tomorrow.
I know June Buggie is grieving the loss of his best friend. He carries the herpes virus and it rears its’ head when he’s stressed. His hyperthyroidism could lead to kidney problems.
And let’s not forget that Buggie is a very old man.
It’s hard to see him this way. I hope there’s something we can do for him. And if there’s not, I hope his is a smooth transition.
And keep me in your thoughts too, because I am not ready to go through this again.
This is sad news, indeed. I’m so very sorry. It is truly sorrow upon sorrow.

Mac knew her since she was born and they were together a lot. It’s hard losing another pet so close after losing a major pet life force. I hope everything comes back and can be treated. (((hugs)))
